Commission Meeting

April 19, 2023 A regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners was held on April 19, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at the City Meeting Room. Present Commissioners John Clausen, Lisa Hedstrom, Jim Schacher and Pres. LeeAnn Domonoske-Kellar. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Hedstrom to approve the minutes from April 5, 2023 meeting as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Hedstrom to approve the agenda as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. The City received one bid for phase 2 of the water and sewer improvements project. Per Moore Engineering’s suggestion the board tabled the matter until the May 3, 2023 meeting. The City received 2 bids for the garbage contract for July 2023 through June 2028. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Clausen to table the matter until the May 3, 2022 meeting to give the board time to compare the bids. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Hedstrom to have the Memorial Hall and City Office rekeyed. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Clausen to make the intersections of Burleigh Road and 4th Street and the intersection at Burleigh Road and 2nd Street 4 way stops. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Hedstrom and seconded by Schacher to pay bills as presented. Roll call vote. Aye: Comm. Clausen, Hedstrom, Schacher and Pres. Domonoske-Kellar. Absent: Comm. Kary. Motion carried. With no other items for discussion, Pres.
