Commission Meeting

May 17, 2023 A regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners was held on May 17, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at the City Meeting Room. Present Commissioners John Clausen, Bill Kary and Pres. LeeAnn Domonoske-Kellar. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Kary to approve the minutes from May 3, 2023 meeting as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Kary and seconded by Clausen to approve the agenda as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Kary and seconded by Clausen to approve the bid from Tand Construction for phase 2 of the Wilton Water and Sewer Improvement Project as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Myron Basaraba was present to discuss his concerns about dogs at large and drivers rolling though stop signs. General discussion was held. Motion made by Kary and seconded by Clausen to approve the Dollar for Scholars gaming application as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Kary and seconded by Clausen to approve the contract for Collection of City Sales, Use and Gross Receipts Taxes as presented by the Office of State Tax Commissioner. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Kary to appoint LaRoy Baird as the City attorney. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Kary to pay bills as presented. Roll call vote. Aye: Comm. Clausen, Kary, and Pres. Domonoske-Kellar. Absent: Comm. Hedstrom and Schacher. Motion carried. With no other items for discussion, Pres.
