Commission Meeting

July 5, 2023 A regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners was held on July 5, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at the City Meeting Room. Present Commissioners John Clausen, Bill Kary, Lisa Hedstrom, Jim Schacher and Pres. LeeAnn Domonoske-Kellar. Motion made by Hedstrom and seconded by Schacher to approve the minutes from June 21, 2023 meeting as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Kary to approve the minutes from the special meeting held on June 30, 2023 meeting as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Clausen to approve the agenda as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. The City received one application for the cleaning position at the Memorial Hall. Comm. Kary and Schacher will interview the applicant. General discussion was held about the 2024 budget. Motion made by Kary and seconded by Schacher to approve the 3-year contract from Town Web to host the City website. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Kary to approve the Wilton Park Board request for a noise variance for July 15, 2023 to 1:00 am on July 16, 2023 for the Wild in Wilton event at the south park. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded Schacher to approve the Sportmen’s Bar and Grill Liquor License transfer the south park for the Wild in Wilton event on July 15, 2023. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Kary to pay bills as presented. Roll call vote. Aye: Comm. Clausen, Kary, Hedstrom, Schacher and Pres. Domonoske-Kellar. Motion carried. With no other items for discussion, Pres.
