Commission Meeting

November 6, 2024 A regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners was held on November 6, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the City Meeting Room. Present Commissioners John Clausen, Bernell Hedstrom, Lisa Hedstrom, and Jim Schacher. In President LeeAnn Domonoske-Kellar absence, the meeting was chaired by Comm. Clausen. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by L. Hedstrom to approve the minutes from the October 16, 2024 meeting as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motin made by B. Hedstrom and seconded by Schacher to approve the minutes from the October 23, 2024 special meeting as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by B. Hedstrom to approve the agenda as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by L. Hedstrom and seconded by Schacher to approve the $1,486,000 Water and Sewer Revenue Bond Series 2024A and $2,076,000 Water and Sewer Revenue Bond Series 2024B as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by B. Hedstrom to approve the W3 Wrestling Clubs request to use the Memorial Hall for their 2024-2025 season. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by L. Hedstrom to approve Farmers Union Oil building application to construct a 28’ x 50’ building for a car wash as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. The Wilton Planning and Zoning Board approved the application on October 21, 2024. General discussion was held about the damage to the curb caused by the school building project. Comm. Schacher will contact the foreman. Motion made by L. Hedstrom and seconded by Schacher to approve the Wilton Pioneer Activity Centers request to us the kitchen in the Memorial Hall until 3 pm on November 16, 2024. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by L. Hedstrom and seconded by Schacher to pay bills as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. With no other items for discussion Comm.
