Commission Meeting

November 20, 2024 A regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners was held on November 20, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the City Meeting Room. Present Commissioners John Clausen, Bernell Hedstrom, Lisa Hedstrom, and Jim Schacher and President LeeAnn Domonoske-Kellar. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by L. Hedstrom to approve the minutes from the November 6, 2024 meeting as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Schacher to approve the agenda as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. City Engineer, AJ Tuck, gave the board an update on the Water and Sewer Project and the remaining work that will be completed 2025. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by B. Hedstrom to approve the gaming application for the Wilton Archery Team to conduct a raffle on February 17, 2025. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by L. Hedstrom to designate the ARPA funds to a city-wide water meter and radio change out. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Schacher to purchase the 2024 Model Ordinances from the North Dakota League of Cities for $150.00. All present voted aye, motion carried. Commissioner Schacher reported he contacted Consolidated Construction on November 7, 2024 and they informed him they would replace the curbing that was damaged in the 600 block of McLean Avenue during construction for the school. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Schacher to pay bills as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. With no other items for discussion Pres.
