III. Regular Items
a. Approval: Requested Permits Listed Above
Ms. Decarreau stated that these are the requested renewals received to date, but there are still
some outstanding. Ms. Decarreau noted two incidents for the businesses requesting renewal that
were responded to by Winooski Police. The first involved the consumption of alcohol while
working at Misery Loves and the other was sale to a minor by Champlain Farms. In both cases
the fines were paid and the issues are considered to be resolved. Ms. Decarreau reviewed the
types of permits requested for renewal. She did note that should there be an issue with any
business that is issued a permit by the Council that the permit can be revoked at a later date if
necessary.
MOTION by Councilor Millar, seconded by Councilor Mace to approve the renewal permits as
presented. Voted and passed 4-0.
