Approval: Request to Cater – ArtsRiot Food Truck (Farmers Market) Sundays July 24 to October 30, 2016 IV. Adjourn MINUTES The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 6:18pm. The meeting began with the pledge of allegiance led by Deputy Mayor Corrigan. Members Present: Mayor Seth Leonard Councilors: Brian Corrigan, Brian Sweeney, Nicole Mace, Robert Millar Officers Present: Ray Coffey, Interim City Manager; Angela Aldieri, Assistant City Clerk; John Audy, Code Enforcement Director; Peter Wernsdorfer, Public Works Director; James Ticehurst, City Treasurer; Julie Hulburd, HR Manager; Others Present: Danielle Patterson; Will Stamp; Mike O’Brien; Clem Bissonnette; Marty Levine; Phillip Bickel; Maura O’Neill, WCP (Electronic) Minutes of July 18, 2016 Winooski Liquor Control Board Page 1 of 2 www.winooskivt.org Mr. Coffey noted that Maura O’Neill of the WCP would be participating electronically as she was not able to attend the meeting. IV. Regular Items a. Approval: Request to Cater – ArtsRiot Food Truck (Truck Stop) Saturdays July 30 to October 15, 2016 This is a request to cater alcohol at an event previously approved by Council. The WCP has been involved in the discussion. Discussion regarding the elimination of August 6th from the list of potential dates due to the conflict with the Wolfsgart event followed. This event had a trial run last year. Discussion regarding security, Department of Liquor Control certification, and City staffing followed. MOTION by Deputy Mayor Corrigan, seconded by Councilor Sweeney to approve the catering permit for ArtsRiot at the Truck Stop except for August 6th as presented. Voted and passed 4-0. b. Approval: Request to Cater – ArtsRiot Food Truck (Farmers Market) Sundays July 24 to October 30, 2016 ArtsRiot would be a vendor at the Farmer’s Market. Ms. O’Neill stated that the Farmers Market had been looking for a vendor to serve mimosas and bloody marys. The Farmers Market would provide fencing to delineate the area and ArtsRiot would be responsible for certified staff. Discussion about impact on other businesses, advertising, proximity to kid focused booths and alcohol sampling followed. MOTION by Deputy Mayor Corrigan, seconded by Councilor Mace to approve the catering permit for ArtsRiot at the Farmers Market as presented. Voted and passed 4-0. IV. Adjourn MOTION by Councilor Millar, seconded by Councilor Sweeney to adjourn the Liquor Control Board meeting at 6:37pm. Voted and passed 4-0.
