The meeting began with the pledge of allegiance led by Deputy Mayor Brian Corrigan. Members Present: Mayor Seth Leonard Councilors: Brian Corrigan, Nicole Mace, Eric Covey Officers Present: Jessie Baker, City Manager; Angela Aldieri, Assistant City Clerk; John Audy, Code Enforcement Director; Ray Coffey, Community Services Director; Kirstie Paschall, Children and Families Director; Heather Carrington, Community and Economic Development Director; Julie Hulburd, Human Resources Manager; Scott McGivern, Lieutenant; Others Present: Robert Millar; Maura O’Neill; Rita Martel; Steve Norman; Johnathan Delabruere; Pallas Ziporyn III. Agenda Review Mayor Leonard stated that the agenda is straightforward and did not require modification. IV. Regular Items a. Approval: First Class Liquor License - 2017 Renewals Ms. Baker stated that the requests have been reviewed by public safety and no issues were identified. Discussion regarding what potential issues would have been identified followed. Mayor Leonard read into record the list of licenses and permits for establishments requesting a first class liquor license. MOTION by Deputy Mayor Corrigan, seconded by Councilor Mace to approve the slate of licenses and permits as presented. Voted and passed 3-0. b. Approval: Second Class Liquor License – 2017 Renewals Ms. Baker again stated that public safety review indicated no issues with the requested permits. Mayor Leonard read into record the list of establishments and the requested licenses. MOTION by Councilor Covey, seconded by Councilor Mace to approve the licenses and permits as presented. Voted and passed 3-0. IV. Adjourn MOTION by Deputy Mayor Corrigan, seconded by Councilor Covey adjourn the Liquor Control Board meeting at 6:22pm. Voted and passed 3-0.
