Adjourn MINUTES The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 6:00 p.m. The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Acting Deputy Mayor Brian Sweeney. Members Present: Mayor Seth Leonard Councilors: Brian Sweeney, Nicole Mace, Eric Covey, Brian Corrigan was absent. Officers Present: Jessie Baker, City Manager; Carol Barrett, City Clerk; John Audy, Code Enforcement Director; Peter Wernsdorfer, Public Works Director; Heather Carrington, Economic Development Director; Kirstie Paschall, Children and Families Director. April 3,, 2017 Minutes Winooski City Council Others Present: George Cross, Ali Fogel and Ryan Smith, Monkey House; Alicia Lee, Maura O’Neill, A.S. Jolles and Nina Beck, Dobra Tea. a. Approval: Restaurant and Sidewalk Usage Permit: Ms. Beck said they will be building a deck on the Abenaki side and it will house four tables. She also said they are hoping to open on July 1st. MOTION by Councilor Mace seconded by Councilor Sweeney to approve the Restaurant License and Sidewalk Usage Permit as presented. Voted and passed 3-0. b. Approval: Second Class Liquor License – 2017 Renewals -Vezina, Pamela J dba Chick’s Market – 60 Hickok St. Ms. Baker stated that there were no issues. MOTION by Councilor Covey seconded by Councilor Sweeney to approve the 2nd Class Liquor License for Pamela J. Vezina dba Chick’s Market as presented. Voted and passed 3-0. c. Approval: Request to Cater Malt, Vinous and or Spirituous Liquor s – Waking Windows Catered Permit MOTION by Councilor Mace seconded by Councilor Sweeney to approve the following catered permits for Monkey Hospitality, LLC Friday, May 5th and Saturday May 6th – Winooski Falls Way, Friday May 5th and Sunday May 7th – 33 Main St., Friday May 5th, Saturday, May 6th and Sunday May 7th – Rotary Park as presented.
