The meeting began with the pledge of allegiance led by Deputy Mayor Brian Corrigan. Regular Items a. Approval: Entertainment Permits for Jazz Festival It was stated that all the requested permits tonight would be considered together as a part of the Jazz Festival. The Jazz Festival is traditionally a Burlington event that is expanding over the river into Winooski this year. The event is to take place between June 2nd and 11th. The Department of Liquor Control requires permits for those serving alcohol to host these events. There are events that will be taking place at venues that do not serve alcohol as well. Two additional events associated with the Jazz Festival have been approved through event review. MOTION by Deputy Mayor Brian Corrigan, seconded by Councilor Covey to approve the entertainment permits for the Jazz Festival as presented. Voted and passed 3-0. IV. Adjourn MOTION by Councilor Sweeney, seconded by Deputy Mayor Brian Corrigan to adjourn the Liquor Control Board meeting at 6:05pm. Voted and passed 3-0.
