MINUTES
The Mayor called the Liquor Control Meeting to order at 6:00 pm and the Pledge of
Allegiance was led by Deputy Mayor Colston.
Members Present:
Mayor Kristine Lott
Council Members: Hal Colston, James Duncan, Amy Lafayette and Mike Myers
Officers Present:
Jessie Baker, City Manager; Janet Brouard, Sr Assistant City Clerk; Angela Aldieri, Finance
Director; Heather Carrington, Community and Economic Development Officer, Ray Coffey,
Community Services Director; Jon Rauscher, Public Works Director; Eric Vorwald, Planning
and Zoning Director.
Others Present:
Meredith Bay-Tyack, Downtown Winooski Executive Director; Ted Nelson, Vermont
Appraisal Company; Karen Horn, Public Policy and Advocacy Director for the Vermont
League of Cities and Towns; Dave Tilley, Veterans Administration; Adam Dubroff,
Representatives from Dale Boca; two University of Vermont students.
III. Regular Items:
a. Approval: 3rd Class Liquor License

b. Approval: 1st Class Liquor License, Restaurant License, Entertainment Permit
∙ Gaucho, LLC dba Dale Boca, 25 Winooski Falls Way
The Mayor asked if there was anyone present from either establishment that would like to
come forward. Hari from Dale Boca came up. He said they were previously located on
Main Street. This move would allow them more space and they will be expanding their
menu. They will also be partnering with 802 Tango to come in and teach Tango and Salsa
dancing. The Mayor said that sounds like fun and wishes them well in their new location.
MOTION by Councilor Myers seconded by Councilor Lafayette to approve the 3 rd Class
Liquor License for the VFW-Veterans of Foreign Wars John Ryan Post # 1767 as presented.
Voted and passed 4-0.
MOTION by Councilor Myers seconded by Councilor Colston to approve the 1 st Class Liquor
License, Restaurant License and Entertainment Permit for Gaucho, LLC dba Dale Boca, 25
Winooski Falls Way as presented. Voted and passed 4-0
IV. Adjourn
MOTION by Councilor Lafayette seconded by Councilor Duncan to adjourn the Liquor
Control Meeting at 6:04 pm. Voted and passed.
