Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 6:10 PM Members Present: Mayor Kristine Lott; Councilor Aurora Hurd; Deputy Mayor/Councilor Thomas Renner; Councilor Bryn Oakleaf; Councilor Charles Judge. Officers Present: Elaine Wang, City Manager; John Audy Jr, Fire Chief; Jazmine Hurley, Housing Initiative Director; Eric Vorwald, Planning and Zoning Manager; Jon Rauscher, Director of Public Works; Paul Sarne, Communications Director; Angela Aldieri, Finance Director; Jenny Willingham, City Clerk; Sarah Greenberg, Assistant City Clerk. Others Present: Ryan Johnston owner of McKee’s, Dan Langfitt, Meaghan Willis, Jenn Conley from VHB, Judy Lance, Camryn Woods, Jordan Mitchell from Town Meeting TV, Meghan O’Rourke from CCTV, Mike O’Brien, Sue O’Brien, Nick Brownell, Bridget, Bryan Davis from CCRPC, Connor Daley, Elisabeth Sundberg from CHB, Marshall Distel from CCRPC, Nate, Terry Zigmund II. Pledge of Allegiance was led by Deputy Mayor Renner. III. Regular Items A. Approval – A&A Asian Market – 12 Mallets Bay Avenue – Multiple – Jenny Willingham, City Clerk • Second Class Liquor License Renewal (Conditional) • Second Class Tobacco Endorsement Renewal (Conditional) • Tobacco License Renewal (Conditional) Minutes: A&A Asian Market sought Council approval for a Second Class Liquor License Renewal (Conditional), Second Class Tobacco Endorsement Renewal (Conditional), Tobacco License Renewal (Conditional). City Clerk Jenny Willingham clarified these licenses are conditional pending inspection. Motion: A motion was made by Councilor Judge to approve, seconded by Councilor Renner. Voted and approved 4-0. B. Approval: RMJ Enterprises – 19 East Allen Street – Multiple – Jenny Willingham, City Clerk, Ryan Johnston, McKee’s/RMJ Enterprises • First Class Liquor License Renewal (Conditional) • Third Class Liquor License Renewal (Conditional) • Outside Consumption Permit (Conditional) • Restaurant License Renewal (Conditional) • Entertainment Permit Renewal (Conditional) • Sidewalk Use Permit Renewal + winter use Minutes: McKee’s owner Ryan Johnston sought council approval for a First Class Liquor License Renewal (Conditional), Third Class Liquor License Renewal (Conditional), Outside Consumption Permit (Conditional), Restaurant License Renewal (Conditional), Entertainment Permit Renewal (Conditional), Sidewalk Use Permit Renewal and winter use. City Clerk Jenny Willingham clarified these licenses are conditional pending inspection. Ryan Johnston addressed Council concerning the minor items being fixed for inspection (electrical/painted outlets, fire extinguishers, etc.). Ryan then addressed the City’s requested level of insurance for sidewalk permits. Discussion ensued. Motion: A motion was made to approve by Councilor Renner, second by Councilor Hurd. Voted and approved 4-0. C. Approval - Standing Stone Wines LLC – 33 Main Street – Tobacco License (New) - Jenny Willingham, City Clerk Minutes: Standing Stone Wines LLC sought Council approval of a new Tobacco License. City clerk Jenny Willingham clarified that Standing Stone Wines would like to add a Tobacco License to their Liquor License application. Motion: A motion to approve was made by Councilor Hurd, seconded by Councilor Judge. Voted and Approved 4-0. IV. Adjourn A motion to adjourn was made by Councilor Renner, seconded by Councilor Judge.
