CITY OF OWEN LABOR RATES FOR SERVICES PROVIDED The City of Owen provided a labor rate sheet that included the hourly wage, FICA, WRS, and health insurance for each public works employee. President Lindgren said it has mainly been two of Owen employees here but not every day. Clerk Niemi said that David Laabs has been learning how to test and do as much as he can, so Owen employees don’t have to be at Village of Withee a lot. President Lindgren said the Owen DPW Chad Smith thought he would be here from 1 – 1.5 hours per day at the most. A Frankewicz/Shelton motion to approve reimbursing the City of Owen for the services provided at the labor rates presented carried with all ayes. PURCHASE OF REPLACEMENT PUMP FOR WELL#3 President Lindgren reported that Owen DPW Chad Smith said that Well #3 was kicking out when the voltage was set at 16.3. B&M Tech set the amperage to 17 and it has been running consistently since then. Iron has been testing a little high so they are hoping that running both Well #3 and #4, it will balance out. Smith is going to get a price for a new pump from Brunner Well in case the problems continue. President Lindgren thought it might be a possibility to rebuild the current one to have as a backup. A Frankewicz/Kalepp motion to approve the purchase of a new pump for Well #3, if necessary, carried with all ayes. A Kalepp/Shelton motion to adjourn at 6:17 p.m. carried with all ayes.
