Box A * Withee, Wisconsin 54498 The Withee Village Board met on November 13, 2023, in the Municipal Building, Conference Room, for a 6:15 pm Budget Meeting. ROLL CALL President Lindgren called the meeting to order. Roll call was answered by Trustees Lindgren, Shelton, Kalepp, and Frankewicz. Clerk Niemi recorded the meeting. Also present were Cindy Cardinal, Heather Mueller, and DPW Derek Schad. REVIEW CHANGES TO THE 2024 BUDGET The board reviewed all the changes that were proposed since the first budget meeting which included the changes due to decreasing the amount for health insurance and adding the extra expense for the police department. The police budget increased since the October 3, 2023, police meeting with 7.5% wage increases and inclusion of the City of Owen clerk wages for the police committee. All these changes resulted in a balanced budget for 2024. A Frankewicz/Kalepp motion to approve the reviewed changes carried with all ayes. APPROVAL OF PROPOSED 2024 BUDGET A Kalepp/Shelton motion to postpone approval of the proposed tentative 2024 budget as presented until the November 30, 2023 budget hearing carried with all ayes.
