Motion to approve Friday 4-25-25 as Arbor Day by Schmidt, 2nd by Roehling -passed 11. Discuss and possibly take action to close Bridge Street and Center Street from intersection with N. East Street to intersection with Gordon Street, and Washington Street from intersection with Center Street to intersection with West Street, and to allow open intoxicants off premises on the 100 and 200 blocks of Center Street, contrary to current village ordinance, during the Wonewoc Fun Fest on June 14, 2025, from the hours of 6:00 am to 9:00 pm by Schumann, 2nd by Schmidt - passed 12. Discuss and possibly take action to approve USDA Pay Request 2022-34 by Schmidt, 2nd by Roehling - passed. 13. Motion to approve Ordinance 2025-1 “Sewage Service Charges” by Schmidt, 2nd by Roraff – passed. Requirements for the residents in “Little Canada” will be addressed in a different section of the Code of Ordinances. 14. Motion to TABLE the decision splitting the $21,000 costs with the Lions Club to create village parking lots on 201 Washington Street, 291910311 & 203 Washington Street, 291910312 15. Motion to approve the sale of the 10 of the 11 FEMA properties plus the former Travis Jefferies garage property owned by the village to the Wonewoc Lions Club by Schumann, 2nd by Schmiot -passed. The board gave the Lions permission to move the Hoover Hotel to another location. 16. Motion to approve agreement with Dean Wildenradt for the mowing of village properties by Schmidt, 2nd by Roehling – passed. This mowing labor is included in the 2025 budget. 17. Motion to take action on the Cybersecurity and Technology Grant available through the league of Municipalities. In an effort to secure our operating systems information (emails, cloud data storage, utility systems. Etc.) First come first serve availability and deadline for application May 30, 2025 by Schmidt, 2nd by Roehling - passed 18.
