WOODS CROSS CITY COUNCIL WORK MEETING The minutes of the Woods Cross City Council meeting, closed session, held March 20, 2024, at 6:30 P.M. in the Woods Cross City Public Works Building located at 2287 South 1200 West, Woods Cross, Utah. CONDUCTING: Ryan Westergard, Mayor COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Ryan Westergard, Mayor Matt Terry Wally Larrabee Jessica Kelemen Julie Checketts Gary Sharp STAFF PRESENT: Bryce Haderlie, City Administrator Gavin Hanselman, Police Department Mitchell Salas, Police Department VISITORS: Paul Child, Centerville City Chief of Police CANDIDATES: Dustin Cordova James Bigalow Samuel Wolf Mayor Westergard called the meeting to order and welcomed all those in attendance. He outlined that he would be asking for a motion to close the meeting for the purpose of conducting interviews with the candidates for the position of Chief of Police MOTION TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION At 6:35 P.M. Council Member Larrabee made a motion to go into closed City Council meeting with Council Member Checketts seconding the motion and all voted for the motion through a roll call vote: Council Members Checketts, Kelemen, Sharp, Terry, and Larrabee all voting in favor of closing the meeting. DISCUSSION and INTERVIEWING of CANDIDATES for CHIEF of POLICE The City Council continued with a special session to interview candidates for the position of Chief of Police at Woods Cross City. MOTION TO ADJOURN At 11:04 P.M.
