March 2, 2021
The Yukon City Council met in regular session on March 2, 2021 at 7: 00 p. m. in the
Council Chambers of the Centennial Building, 12 South Fifth Street, Yukon, Oklahoma.
The invocation was given by Pastor Brian Mills, Trinity Baptist Church
The flag salute was given in unison.

1A. YMA Consent Docket
This item is placed on the agenda so the Yukon Municipal Authority, by unanimous
consent, can designate those routine items they wish to be approved by one motion.
If an item does not meet with the approval of all Authority Members, that item will be
heard in regular order.
The City Manager recommends a motion to approve:
A) The minutes of the regular meeting of February 16, 2021
The motion to approve the YMA Consent Docket, consisting of the approval of the
minutes of the regular meeting of February 16, 2021, was made by Trustee Wootton
and seconded by Trustee Cacini.
The vote:
AYES: Wootton, Gilliland, Selby, Cacini
NAYS: None
VOTE: 4- 0

1. Consent Docket
This item is placed on the agenda so the City Council, by unanimous consent, can
designate those routine items they wish to be approved by one motion. If an item
does not meet with the approval of all Council Members, that item will be heard in

The City Manager recommends a motion that will approve:
A) The minutes of the regular meeting of February 16, 2021
B) Payment of material claims in the amount of $ 172, 597. 88
C) Designating the items on the attached list from the Technology Department as
surplus and authorizing their sale, donation or trade
D) An agreement with Yukon BMX to use Taylor Park BMX Track from March 3,
2021 through March 2, 2022
E) An agreement with the Yukon Horseshoe Club for use of Yukon City Park
Horseshoe Courts from April 19, 2021 to October 1, 2021
F) An agreement with the Central Oklahoma RC Club to use Taylor Park RC Car
Track from March 3, 2021 through March 2, 2022
G) An agreement with the Yukon Soccer Club Recreation and Competitive for
use of the soccer fields at Ranchwood and Taylor Parks from March 3, 2021
through August 31, 2021
H) Setting the date for the next regular Council meeting for March 16, 2021,
7: 00 p. m., in the Council Chambers of the Centennial Building, 12 S. Fifth St.
The motion to approve the Consent Docket consisting of the minutes of the regular
meeting of February 16, 2021 ; payment of material claims in the amount of

Council Member Cacini confirmed that the sports organizations are required to carry
insurance. Council Member Gilliland stated he appreciates the relationships
between the organizations and the City, hopes to be inclusive.

3. Consider approving a Budget Amendment for Fiscal Year 2021
The motion to approve a Budget Amendment for Fiscal Year 2021 , was made by
Council Member Wootton and seconded by Council Member Cacini.

4. Consider awarding the bid for the Water/ Sewer Flushing Truck to Frontier
Equipment, in the amount of $ 320, 000. 00 ( including trade- in), as approved in the
2020- 2021 Capital Improvement Budget, as recommended by the Public Works
Director
The motion to award the bid for the Water/ Sewer Flushing Truck to Frontier
Equipment, in the amount of $ 320, 000. 00 ( including trade- in), as approved in the

Director, was made by Council Member Cacini and seconded by Council Member
Gilliland.

5. New Business - no new business.
6. Council Discussion
Council Member Wootton encouraged the public to come out and support little
league baseball.
Council Member Cacini thanked the City for all the recent water/ sewer work. He
stated we need to improve infrastructure and would like the City to help
Compassionate Hands and Yukon Sharing. He also welcomed the Historical Society
President to Yukon.
Council Member Gilliland was glad to see Yukon come out of yet another storm. He
thanked City management for being prepared.
Mayor Selby gave an upcoming events recap.
