The invocation was given by Debra Kauffman, Chisholm Trail Presbyterian Church The flag salute was given in unison. Any item being presented MUST pertain to the City of Yukon business) Mary Husband, 1 109 Queensboro PI., feels that the rules at Jackie Cooper Gym ( JCG) need to be addressed. Ms. Husband likes the gym but wants certain things to be changed. She showed pictures of 11 men and woman who came in by 7: 20 a. m. to walk for health reasons and doctor' s suggestions. With the hours starting at 9: 00 a. m., the walkers don' t get to walk because when the gym opens, pickleball takes over. Ms. Husband believes the walkers need to have priority. There are nine parks in Yukon, but why not make our gyms more serviceable for all citizens and not just a certain group. Recess as Yukon City Council and Reconvene as Yukon Municipal Authority) 1A. Consider a motion to deny a Special Use Permit ( SUP) for a short- term rental at 216 Sunrise Drive, as recommended by the Planning Commission The motion to deny a Special Use Permit ( SUP) for a short- term rental at 216 Sunrise Drive, as recommended by the Planning Commission, was made by Council Member Yanda and seconded by Council Member Zimmerman. Council Member Wootton asked Danielle what the Planning Commission thoughts were. Danielle O' Neal explained that the HOA President of the community showed the rules that do not allow businesses. The vote: AYES: Yanda, Zimmerman, Selby NAYS: Wootton VOTE: 3- 1 MOTION CARRIED 4. Consider approving Resolution No. 2024- 05, a Resolution of the City of Yukon waiving garage sale permit fees for Route 66 Triple Tour the weekend of June 14- 16, 2024 The motion to approve Resolution No. 2024- 05, a Resolution of the City of Yukon waiving garage sale permit fees for Route 66 Triple Tour the weekend of June 14- 16, 2024, was made by Council Member Yanda and seconded by Council Member Wootton. Mayor Selby wanted to know what the fees were. Mr. Hort explained there is a $ 5 fee. Consider a motion to approve a permanent easement between the City of Yukon and Yukon Public Schools for a permanent waterline, located at 1777 S Yukon Parkway, in the Northeast Quarter ( NE/ 4) of Section Twenty- eight ( 28), Township Twelve ( 12) North, Range five ( 5) West of the Indian Meridian, Canadian County, Oklahoma, described tract of land containing 0. 3673 acres or 16, 000 square feet more or less, as recommended by the Assistant City Manager The motion to approve a permanent easement between the City of Yukon and Yukon Public Schools for a permanent waterline, located at 1777 S Yukon Parkway, in the Northeast Quarter ( NE/ 4) of Section Twenty- eight ( 28), Township Twelve ( 12) North, Range five ( 5) West of the Indian Meridian, Canadian County, Oklahoma, described tract of land containing 0. 3673 acres or 16, 000 square feet more or less, as recommended by the Assistant City Manager, was made by Council Member Wootton and seconded by Council Member Yanda. The vote: AYES: Zimmerman, Selby, Wootton, Yanda NAYS: None VOTE: 4- 0 MOTION CARRIED 6. Consider a motion to vote on behalf of the City of Yukon for two Oklahoma Municipal Assurance Group ( OMAG) Board of Trustees The motion to vote for Tammy Kretchmar and Craig Stephenson for Oklahoma Municipal Assurance Group ( OMAG) Board of Trustees, was made by Council Member Selby and seconded by Council member Yanda. The vote: AYES: Selby, Wootton, Yanda, Zimmerman NAYS: None VOTE: 4- 0 MOTION CARRIED 9.
