Minutes THE TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION THE TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION MET IN REGULAR SESSION ON OCTOBER 10, 2023 AT THE CENTENNIAL BUILDING IN THE CITY COUNCIL CONFERENCE ROOM. THE MEETING WAS HELD AT 6:30 PM. ROLL CALL: James Montgomery Charlie Lee (Absent) Rick Cacini Tim Peters CITY OFFICIALS: Arnold Adams, Public Works Director Jessica Rodriquez, Public Works Item 1: Discuss and approve the minutes of the regular Traffic Commission Meeting: August 8, 2023 Motion for minutes to be approved: Motion – Rick Cacini Second – James Montgomery The motion passed unanimously. Item 2: Visitors: None Item 3: No Parking Sign request in several areas of Sunrise Hills Subdivision. Requested by resident Glen Smith.  J. Montgomery; Motion to deny Mr. Glen Smith’s request for “No Parking” signs in the Sunrise Hills Subdivision, from Amanda St. to Morningside. Motion – James Montgomery Second – Rick Cacini The motion passed unanimously. Item 4: Discuss Traffic Concerns R. Cacini - street behind Locke (3rd St.), Kimbell St. behind Good Fight Chruch is in bad shape. T. Peters – police have done extra patrol on Frisco; say drag racing has stopped. J. Montgomery – request to do speed study at Main St. & Yukon Parkway; change speed to 45 mph Item 5: Date for next meeting: Tuesday December 12, 2023 Item 6: Adjournment
