City of Yuma City Council Citizen's Forum Agenda Tuesday, March 20, 2018 5:30 PM Yuma City Hall Council Chambers One City Plaza, Yuma Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2015-047 that one or more members of the Yuma City Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing. Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws. CALL TO ORDER CITY COUNCIL DISCUSSION AND QUESTIONS ON THE FOLLOWING TOPICS I. TOBACCO 21 Melissa Norred of American Cancer Society (ACS) would like to introduce Yuma youth group speakers from 'Ridding Yuma's Youth of Tobacco', otherwise known as RYYOT, and ACS-Cancer Action Network who are seeking City Council's adoption of an ordinance to change the legal age to purchase tobacco items from 18 years of age to 21 years of age; followed by discussion and/or questions from City Council. II. EXECUTIVE SESSION An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving legal advice for items included on the March 21, 2018 Regular City Council Meeting, the March 20, 2018 Regular Worksession and the March 20, 2018 Citizen’s Forum agendas, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3, 4 and/or 7) and the following items: There are no Executive Session agenda items scheduled at this time.
