City of Yuma City Council Worksession Meeting Agenda Tuesday, December 6, 2016 6:00 PM Yuma City Hall Council Chambers One City Plaza, Yuma Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2008-55 that one or more members of the Yuma City Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing. Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws. CALL TO ORDER I. GOOD NEIGHBOR NEXT-DOOR PROGRAM Director of Community Development, Laurie Lineberry and Neighborhood Services Manager, Rhonda Lee-James, will brief City Council on the Good Neighbor Next-Door Program, which allows certain housing to be sold at a discounted rate to specific occupations, such as public safety personnel and teachers; followed by questions and/or discussion from City Council. II. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA OF DECEMBER 7, 2016. City Council discussion and/or questions to City staff on any Regular City Council Meeting agenda item. (For a listing of agenda items, the Regular City Council meeting agenda is posted adjacent to this worksession agenda and is available in the Office of the City Clerk and on the City’s website at www.YumaAz.gov). III. EXECUTIVE SESSION An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving legal advice for items included on the December 7, 2016 Regular City Council Meeting, the December 6, 2016 Regular Worksession and the December 6, 2016 Citizen’s Forum agendas, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3, 4 and/or 7) and the following items: A. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel, regarding Open Meeting Law. (A.R.S. 38-431.03 A3 & A4) B. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel, regarding the following ordinances (A.R.S. 38-431.03 A3 & A4): • O2016-038: Declare property surplus and authorize sale through a competitive bid process of property located at Avenue 4 ½ E and 36th Street. • O2016-039: Declare property surplus and authorize sale of property located at the northeast corner of 1st Street and Madison Avenue.
