City of Yuma City Council Worksession Agenda Tuesday, January 17, 2017 6:00 PM Yuma City Hall Council Chambers One City Plaza, Yuma Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2008-55 that one or more members of the Yuma City Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing. Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws. CALL TO ORDER I. YUMA EAST WETLANDS Charlie Flynn, Executive Director of Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area, will give a briefing related to the maintenance at the Yuma East Wetlands, the Multi-Species Conservation Program and the challenges ahead; followed by questions and/or discussion from City Council. II. LED LIGHT SURVEY Joel Olea, Director of Public Works, and Pete Montalvo, Public Works Manager, will give a presentation on light emitting diode (LED) streetlights which includes the benefits, costs, comparison and survey feedback received from local residents and businesses; followed by questions and/or discussion by City Council. III. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA OF JANUARY 18, 2017. City Council discussion and/or questions to City staff on any Regular City Council Meeting agenda item. IV. EXECUTIVE SESSION An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving legal advice for items included on the January 18, 2017 Regular City Council Meeting, the January 17, 2017 Regular Worksession and the January 17, 2017 Citizen’s Forum agendas, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3, 4 and/or 7) and the following items: A. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel regarding litigation of League of Arizona Cities and Towns, City of Phoenix, City of Yuma, et al v. State of Arizona, et al.
