City of Yuma City Council Worksession Agenda Tuesday, January 16, 2024 5:30 PM Yuma City Hall Council Chambers One City Plaza, Yuma Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2015-047 that one or more members of the Yuma City Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing. Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws. CALL TO ORDER I. YUMA COALITION TO END HOMELESSNESS Rebecca Clayton, Yuma Coalition to End Homelessness Coordinator, will update City Council on the Yuma Coalition to End Homelessness (YCEH) activities, followed by questions and/or discussion by City Council. II. PARK PATROL PROGRAM Eric Urfer, Director of Parks and Recreation, and Captain Wayne Boyd of the Yuma Police Department, will present on the new Park Patrol Program, followed by questions and/or discussion by City Council. III. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA OF JANUARY 17, 2024 City Council discussion and/or questions to City staff on any Regular City Council Meeting agenda item. (For a listing of agenda items, the Regular City Council meeting agenda is posted adjacent to this worksession agenda and is available in the Office of the City Clerk and on the City’s website at www.YumaAz.gov). IV. EXECUTIVE SESSION An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving legal advice for items included on the January 17, 2024, Regular City Council Meeting and the January 16, 2024, Regular Worksession agendas, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3, 4 and/or 7) and the following items: A. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel regarding the establishment clause and public meetings.
