TOWN OF ZIONSVILLE, INDIANA BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS OCTOBER 18, 2021, PUBLIC MEETING 1100 WEST OAK STREET ZIONSVILLE, INDIANA MEETING MEMORANDA I. OPENING A. CALL TO ORDER: President Joe Culp called the meeting to order. B. MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE: President Joe Culp, Vice President Suzy Nagy, Commissioner Josh Garrett, Commissioner Marcia Rosenfeld C. MEMBERS NOT IN ATTENDANCE: Commissioner Bryan Traylor D. OTHERS IN ATTENDANCE: Chief of Police Michael Spears, Lieutenant Drake Sterling, Heather Willey, Legal counsel for the Board of Police Commissioners, Tiffany Diefenderfer II. APPROVAL OF THE FOLLOWING MEETING MEMORANDA: A. President Joe Culp made a motion to approve the August 16, 2021, Meeting Memoranda as submitted. Commissioner Josh Garret seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed with a vote of 4-0. III. OLD BUSINESS A. None. IV. NEW BUSINESS A. HIRING LIST Lieutenant Sterling discussed the hiring process. The applicants have completed a variety of testing. At the conclusion of the testing there are 11 candidates who are highlighted in the packet submitted to the Board. The packet was reviewed in Executive Session. Commissioner Rosenfeld made a motion to approve the hiring list. Vice President Nagy seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed with a vote of 4-0. V. ADJOURN Commissioner Garrett made a motion to adjourn the meeting. President Culp seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed with a vote of 4-0. The next regular Board of Police Commissioners meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 15, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. or upon the conclusion of the Town Council meeting.
