Zionsville Architectural Review Committee Meeting Minutes Thursday December 11, 2014 Attendees: Committee Members: Tom Casalini Eileen Davis Brad Johnson Dave Rausch Mike Zeller Others: Wayne DeLong President Dave Rausch opened the meeting at 7:30 am with review of the Agenda. A quorum was present. Mike Zeller made a motion to approve the Agenda. Seconded by Tom Casalini. Motion approved unanimously. Old Business: Project Updates: 1. 30-40 N. Main St, Greeks a. Mr. Simmons presented revised plans for the improvements. b. The estimate was presented as $39,000 and reviewed. c. A 40% match is recommended for this project, resulting in a maximum grant of $15,600. d. A motion by Eileen Davis, seconded by Mike Zeller: Approval of a grant of up to $15,600 contingent upon removal of the awning up-lights and final lighting review by the sub-committee. Unanimously approved. 2. 130 Hawthorne Street, Chapel a. The owner presented a design and a request for a grant of a 40% match of a total cost of $45,000, for a maximum grant of $18,000. b. A motion by Brad Johnson, seconded by Eileen Davis: Approval of a grant of up to $18,000, from 2014 and 2015 funds as available, contingent upon a detailed cost review by a sub-committee and an awning review. Unanimously approved. 3. 99 N. First Street, Price a. The owner presented a design and a tentative estimate of $39,273 for the proposed façade improvements. b. Final design details and a final cost estimate are expected for final approval in January. c. A motion by Eileen, seconded by Mike Zeller: A vote of confidence in this project with a likelihood of actual approval when final details are available. Unanimously approved. New Business: No new applications or inquiries have been received. A special committee meeting is tentatively scheduled for 7pm on Monday December 21 at Casalini Studio.
