MEMORANDUM TO: Zionsville Redevelopment Commission FROM: Wayne DeLong, AICP, Director of Planning & Economic Development RE: Update for September 24, 2012 Redevelopment Commission Meeting Below is an update on Redevelopment / TIF District properties and projects: Wal-Mart Real Estate Business Trust Project located approximately 1,200 feet south of Bennett Parkway and Michigan Road/421: Wal-Mart filed a development petition for the October 15, 2012 Plan Commission meeting. The Domain/REI Apartment Development Plan: Four apartment buildings, as well as the pool, clubhouse, and several garages have received final inspections and are permitted to be occupied. Ripberger Business Park/Fed Ex: The Plan Commission unanimously approved both the preliminary plat and development plan for the project. The Town will petition to rezone the 35 acres of multi-family land within the park (projected to be heard at the November 2012 meeting of the Plan Commission). 106th Street Sewer & Water project: Town staff has received preliminary design from Beam Longest & Neff. Plans are currently being reviewed.
