MEMORANDUM TO: Zionsville Redevelopment Commission FROM: Wayne DeLong, AICP, Director of Planning & Economic Development RE: Update for November 26, 2012 Redevelopment Commission Meeting Below is an update on Redevelopment / TIF District properties and projects: Wal-Mart Real Estate Business Trust Project located approximately 1,200 feet south of Bennett Parkway and Michigan Road/421: Wal-Mart filed a variance of development standards petition for the January 8, 2013 Board of Zoning Appeals meeting and a development petition for the January 22, 2013 Plan Commission meeting. The Domain/REI Apartment Development Plan: Four apartment buildings, as well as the pool, clubhouse, and several garages have received final inspections and are permitted to be occupied. Most recently, Building Number 7, at 11195 Helm Drive receive its Temporary Certificate of Occupancy on Monday October 15, 2012. Ripberger Business Park: The Plan Commission at its November 13, 2012 Special Meeting certified the rezoning the 32.1 acres of multi-family land within the park to the Town Council (for hearing on December 3, 2012). 106th Street Sewer & Water project: Plans are being set for release for bid on December 12, 2012. Bennett Parkway Extension: Plans are being set for release for bid on December 12, 2012. My Sugar Pie: Applicant was approved at the November 13, 2012 meeting of the Plan Commission to attach an 8 by 10 square foot freezer on the northeast corner of the back of the building located in the Village Business District (VBD) Zoning District. Harris FLP – 575 S. Main Street: Applicant was approved at the November 13, 2012 meeting of the Plan Commission to build a 16,170 square foot Office Building on 4.1224 acres in the Business (B-2) Zoning District. Harris FLP: 576 S. Main Street Applicant was approved at the November 13, 2012 meeting of the Plan Commission to build an Integrated Center to include 3 buildings on 1.6974 acres in the Village Business District (VBD) Zoning District.
