ZIONSVILLE TOWN COUNCIL MEETING MEMORANDA FOR Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 7:30 AM Zionsville Town Hall Council Chamber 1100 West Oak Street Date of Preparation: January 22, 2018 Members Present: Josh Garrett, President; Bryan Traylor, Vice-President; Elizabeth Hopper and Tom Schuler Members Absent: Susana Suarez, Jason Plunkett and Kevin Spees Also Present: Tim Haak, Mayor; Ed Mitro, Deputy Mayor; Heather Willey, Town Attorney; Amy Lacy, Director of Finance & Records and Town Department Staff 1. OPENING A. Call meeting to order B. Pledge of Allegiance 2. APPROVAL OF THE MEMORANDUM OF THE January 07, 2018 REGULAR MEETING (copy posted). COUNCIL ACTION: Councilor Hopper moved to approve the Memoranda of the January 7, 2019 Town Council Meeting. Vice-President Traylor seconded the motion. The Memoranda of the January 7, 2019 meeting was approved by a vote of four in favor, zero opposed. 3. REQUEST TO SPEAK There were no requests to speak. 4. OLD BUSINESS – None 5. NEW BUSINESS A. Consideration of a Resolution Declaring an Economic Development Revitalization Area and Approving Applications for Real Property Tax Abatement (Becknell project). RESOLUTION 2019-02 Becknell and VanTrust project attorney Matt Price explained the projects and the process regarding both Resolutions. He answered questions from the Council. COUNCIL ACTION: President Garrett moved to approve Resolution #2019-02. Councilor Hopper seconded the motion. Resolution #2019-02 was approved by a vote of four in favor, zero opposed. B. Consideration of a Resolution Declaring an Economic Development Revitalization Area and Approving Applications for Real Property Tax Abatement (VanTrust project). RESOLUTION 2019-03 COUNCIL ACTION: Councilor Hopper moved to approve Resolution #2019-03. Vice-President Traylor seconded the motion. Resolution #2019-03 was approved by a vote of four in favor, zero opposed. 6. OTHER MATTERS 7. ADJOURN COUNCIL ACTION: President Garrett moved to adjourn the meeting. Vice-President Traylor seconded the motion. The motion was approved by a vote of four in favor, zero opposed. The next regular Town Council meeting is scheduled for Monday February 04, 2019 @ 7:00 PM in the Zionsville Town Hall Council Chamber.
