I. Introduction
A. PZAZ official entity of the Town- Town Council officially approve members at
March 7, 2022 Town Council Meeting
B. No official minutes or attendance until approval
II. Updates on initiatives and committee responsibilities
A. Ordinances and preservation- Dillon read through Fishers list (Trees, ornamental
grass, shrubs, etc.) DNR has list of invasive species
B. Zionsville Greenfest- PZAZ have a a table. Give trees away- contact Arbor Day
Society. (Pauline) Revamp outreach presentation and have that running. Answer
questions about grant.- Michal
C. Tree City Designation- Roger- No new business
D. Outreach- Greta- Working on making committee town official
E. Beautification- Roger - rain gardens, native plants but need more color and
plants get trampled
III. Old Business
A. Urban Tree Canopy Assessment/IU Resiliency Cohort- 40% tree coverage.
Press release has already been sent. Amanda will try to come to the next
meeting.
B. Tree designation for businesses or homes that meet a list of standards- Social
media campaign. Nominate neighbors and neighborhoods. Include this in booth
at Zionsville Greenfest (Tree of the Year-campaign Wake Forest)
C. Ordinance 2022-01 establishing PZAZ and new board members – Greta -
Andrew Schnell - Michal Owens - Dillon Wyatt
IV. New Business
A. Discussed recognizing areas that need trees and going to the Town Council and
Mayor requesting funds for a mass planting day.
B. DNR- Wood on Wheels interactive exhibit 4th-6th graders target audience

A. Landscape in the Village
B. Highlight Village history
C. Expand decorative lighting poles, flags etc. onto the streets adjacent to Main
Street
D. Install works of sculpture around the Village, Lions Park and Elm Street Green.
E. Toilets in the Village Business District
F. Support the ongoing efforts to create a conservation district designation for the
Historic Village.
G. Tree inventory
