This meeting was conducted onsite. All members participated in person.
Present: Greta Sanderson, Michal Owens, Tom Cassalini, Roger Collins, Andrew Schnell, Amy
Lacy, Pauline Coderre
I. Attendance taken 11:30 am
II. Approve minutes from August 17, 2022 meeting
III. Update on initiatives and committee responsibilities
a. Events- Michal
1. There are no new events, but Greenfest is the next event. Michal will reach out
about being on committee again and getting a table.
b. Beautification- Tom
2. Tom is part of ZARC and Business District Management Committee. There are
many changes planned for the village in the next 18 months, including: public
restrooms, visual improvements, lighting in public spaces and side streets.
IV. Old business
a. Tree of the Year Award display and award - Michal
1. Plaques are up in Town Hall, but Tree City banner was too large to hang in the
same space.
V. New business
a. Tree Planting List, Arbor Day Foundation Marketing Kit
b. Discussed if monthly meetings were necessary moving forward, or spreading out
meetings during less active seasons
