PZAZ Minutes 11:30 a.m. February 15, 2023 Zionsville Town Hall Tangoe Conference Room 202 1100 West Oak Street The meeting was conducted onsite. All members participated in person. Present: Greta Sanderson, Michal Owens, Pauline Coderre, Ellen Dennehy, Justin Wagoner, Pam Diagostino, Roger Collins, Amy Lacy, Brad Burk I. Attendance taken 11:30 a.m. II. Approved minutes from December 14, 2022 meeting III. Introduce and welcome new board members Justin Wagoner, Pam Diagostino and Ellen Dennehy IV. Updates on initiatives and committee responsibilities A. Ordinances and preservation: Pauline – Greta to send Mathias’s study and draft B. Events (tree-planting day, Z’ Greenfest, Fall Festival): Michal 1. April 22, 9-noon – Michal completed application 2. Sign up to be exhibitors. Will need to get saplings from DNR to give out and provide our own tent, tablecloth, and table. 3. Pauline will look into getting tree saplings from DNR C. Z’ Tree of the Year: 1. Discussed modifications this year 2. Promotions on social media and throughout town, farmer’s market, on the chamber tree, flyer in Friendly D. Tree City designation: Lance  E. Outreach: Brad and Justin, Ellen– let HOAs earn designation for most trees/capita – advocate replacing invasive species, are you connecting with your neighbors, Greta update the PZAZ website F. Beautification: roundabouts, Village bumper areas: form-based coding for the town council V. New business: HOA recognition program VI. Adjourn
