18451 MINUTES ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION City Council Chambers, 123 South Lincoln Street, Municipal Building, Aberdeen, South Dakota, August 14, 2023 at 5:00 p.m., regular meeting of the City Council. CALL TO ORDER MEETING ROLL CALL Present at roll call were City Council Members Erin Fouberg, Charlotte Liebelt, Alan Johnson, Justin Reinbold, David Novstrup, and Mayor Travis Schaunaman. City Council Members Rob Ronayne, Josh Rife, and Tiffany Langer were absent City Staff present were Joe Gaa, Ron Wager, Robin Bobzien, Joel Weig, Dave McNeil, Mark Hoven, Ken Hubbart, Cathy McNickle, and Jordan McQuillen. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor Schaunaman led the Pledge of Allegiance. DISCUSSION Discussion was held on 2023 YTD Revenues/Expenses and 2024 Projections presented by Finance Officer Jordan McQuillen. City Council Member Tiffany Langer joined the work session at 5:05 p.m. Discussion was held on review of Capital Outlay Program regarding 2024 Proposed Projects and overview of 5-year Capital Improvement Plan presented by City Manager Joe Gaa. Discussion was held on review of 2024 Overall Operational Budget Proposal regarding Operating Equipment Requests and Budget Priorities presented by City Manager Joe Gaa ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, motion by Novstrup, second by Johnson to adjourn the meeting.
