CALL TO ORDER MEETING ROLL CALL Present at roll call were City Council Members Rob Ronayne, Erin Fouberg, Charlotte Liebelt, Josh Rife via teleconference, Justin Reinbold, Tiffany Langer via teleconference, David Novstrup, and Mayor Travis Schaunaman. City Council Member Alan Johnson was absent. City Staff present were Robin Bobzien, Ron Wager, Stuart Nelson, Ken Hubbart, Joel Weig, Dave McNeil, and Jordan McQuillen. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor Schaunaman led the Pledge of Allegiance. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Liebelt, second by Ronayne to approve the agenda with the removal of item 7(c). Voice vote to approve, all present voting aye, motion carried. MINUTES Motion by Reinbold, second by Novstrup to approve the minutes of the March 25, 2024, City Council Meeting, as circulated. OLD BUSINESS APPROVAL AND SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE NO. 24-03-01, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING REGULATIONS OF THE ABERDEEN CITY CODE REGARDING ADMINISTRATIVE EXCEPTIONS Community Development Director Ken Hubbart presented the ordinance. Motion by Reinbold, second by Ronayne to approve the second reading of Ordinance No. 24-03-01, an ordinance amending the zoning regulations of the Aberdeen City Code regarding Administrative Exceptions. SECOND READING AND POSSIBLE APPROVAL OF ORDINANCE NO. 24-03-02, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ABERDEEN CITY CODE REGARDING THE ENFORCEMENT OF ZONING VIOLATIONS Community Development Director Ken Hubbart presented the ordinance. Motion by Ronayne, second by Reinbold to approve the second reading of Ordinance No. 24-03-02, an ordinance amending the Aberdeen City Code Regarding the Enforcement of Zoning Violations. APPROVAL OF JOINT FUNDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ABERDEEN AND THE UNITED STATES GEOLOGICAL SURVEY IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,357.00 City Engineer Stuart Nelson presented the joint funding agreement. Motion by Ronayne, second by Fouberg to approve the Joint Funding Agreement between the City of Aberdeen and The United States Geological survey in the amount of $23,357.00. POSSIBLE APPROVAL OF THE PETITION OF VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION OF APPROXIMATELY 2.16 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED IN THE NORTH ½ OF THE SW ¼ OF SECTION 16-T123N-R63W OF THE 5TH P.M.
