Mayor’s Advisory Committee for People with Disabilities Agenda Meeting Date: Tuesday, February 19, 2019 Start Time: 12 p.m. End Time: 1 p.m. Location: City Hall 2nd Floor Conference Room Purpose: Regular scheduled meeting Present: Allison Schmitt, Mendy Jones, Tina Kenser, Lance Sigdestad, Dalita Meyer, Steven Richmond, Doris Stusiak, Tom Wantte. 1. Standing Items 1.1 Any additions to agenda? No new agenda items. 1.2 Review and approve minutes from January 2019 Meeting: Tom made a motion and second by Allison. All approve. 1.3 Review and approve Treasurer’s report from January 2019 Meeting: Allison reported the the Education Enhancement Award was paid out to the recipient. The current total is $2,751.01. each committee balance is as follows: BAD: $291.50, ADA $896,33 and General $1,563,18. Tom made the motion to approve the treasure report with a second from Lance. All approve. 1.4 Excused absence: Laura Stoltenburg, Dawn Brush, Gwen Fischbach, Deb Kambel, Tyler Goldade, Eric Vetter and Becca Wells. 2. Committee Reports 2.1 BAD –Doris reported that Cindy voiced interest in stepping down from this committee and would like to transfer the duties to someone else. 2.2 Partners in Community Pride – No report 2.3 Transportation – New driver start tomorrow. Another new driver will be starting soon. Rideline was looking at merging with another agency however this did not come to fruition since the could not join a 501(C)3 agency. Snow has been an issue. Did receive a grant for 3 new vehicles. 2.4 Education Enhancement Award – Mendy mailed out the award applications last month. 2.5 NDEAM - Dalita gave an update that the committee is working on a topic, presenter , location etc. 2.6 ADA Anniversary Celebration – No report 3. Old Business 3.1 March Non-Profit Month Business After Hours Event – Will be held March 14th at the Boys and Girls Club this year. Contact Bea Smith to coordinate table. If no one is available Tina and Dalita will man the booth if the booth is next to their work booth. 3.2 Update on Absences/Liaison Status: Reviewed the list of members and attendance. Discussion was held about the Liaison however it was decided to leave the liaisons on list since it does not cost any money for postage and it does not have an impact on quorum for voting. Will continue this discussion at the March meeting. 3.3 Committee List Update. Reviewed the committee list of volunteers and committee members. 5.
