environmental review.

After discussing the request to 62 residential and mixed-use structures on vacant lots, the Commission made the following
recommendations-
The applicant should consider building out space under the proposed stoops for storage space;
The applicant should consider simplifying the exterior design elements, especially on the two-toned structures, in
order to compliment and blend with the historic structures;
The applicant should consider reducing the number of different materials being proposed on single building
facades. Change in materials should be reserved for architectural features such as bay windows and decorative
elements;
The applicant should consider revising the color of the horizontal base panel/water table to be similar in color to
the proposed board and batten siding; and
The applicant should consider adding variety or using a more contemporary style handrail.
