PARKS COMMISSION
February 19, 2024
The Parks Commission met at the Albany Village Hall on Monday, January 15th, 2024. The
meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Tonya Stephan. Roll call was taken with the
following members present: Stephan, Bert Hefty, Larry Nipple. Absent: Jim Mauerman, Rich
Wachholz, Larry Ommodt and John Koopmans. Also present: Roald Henderson and Lonnie
Gill.
Proof of posting was verified.
MINUTES: Motion by Hefty, seconded by Nipple, to approve the minutes of the last meeting
as printed. Carried.
BOAT LAUNCH FEE DISCUSSION: Further discussion regarding boat launch fees as a
possible revenue option for the village, such as daily and/or seasonal fees or assessing a business
license fee. This item will continue to be discussed.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Nothing.
FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: Boat launch fees and park equipment.
ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Hefty, seconded by Stephan, to adjourn. Carried.

Wisconsin Statutes, that a meeting of the Parks Commission of the Board of Trustees of
the Village of Albany will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., at the
Albany Village Hall at 206 N. Water Street, Albany, Wisconsin.
