PARKS COMMISSION *NO QUORUM* April 15, 2024 The Parks Commission met at the Albany Village Hall on Monday, January 15, 2024. The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Tonya Stephan. Roll call was taken with the following members present: Stephan, Larry Ommodt and John Koopmans. Absent: Berty Hefty, Larry Nipple, Jim Mauerman and Rich Wachholz. Proof of posting was verified. MINUTES: The committee would like previous minutes printed and handed out with the agenda at the meeting. RE-HIRE COMMISSIONERS: The committee recommends re-hiring ballpark commissioners Jeff Inabnit and Don LaPointe. RE-HIRE REC-DIRECTOR: The committee recommends re-hiring Cindy Mauerman as Summer Recreation Director. REC-DIRECTOR TO HIRE ASSISTANT: The committee recommends Cindy Mauerman to hire high school application for assistant recreation director. RE-HIRE SUMMER PARKS LABORER: The committee recommends re-hiring Avary Briggs as summer parks laborer. BOAT LAUNCH FEES/BUSINESS LICENSE DISCUSSION: Much discussion between members present; committee recommends sending to the Plans Commission for more discussion on possibly creating a business license ordinance.
