PARKS COMMISSION
August 19th, 2024
The Parks Commission met at the Albany Village Hall on Monday August 19th, 2024. The
meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Tonya Stephan. Roll call was taken with the
following members present: Stephan, Bert Hefty, Kim Klein, Larry Ommodt and Jim
Mauerman. Absent: Rich Wachholz. Also present: Lonnie Gill, Olivia Otte of Green County
Development Corporation, Scott Vosters, Jeff Inabnit, and Dan Kauk.
Proof of posting was verified.
MINUTES: Motion by Ommodt, seconded by Hefty, to approve the minutes of the last meeting
as printed. Carried.
PARK ROOF PRICES: Motion by Hefty, seconded by Klein, to approve village park bathroom
roof replacement in the amount of $912.17. Carried. Gill to find replacement in-use lock for
village park restroom.
GREEN COUNT DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION: Otte will attend a seminar on
potential funding / grants for upgrading current park equipment. Klein to do park walk through
to assess current equipment condition including benches.
ANNOUNCEMENTS AND FURTURE AGENDA ITEMS: Kauk and Inabnit looking into
estimates for upper ball field diamond.
ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Hefty, seconded by Ommodt, to adjourn. Carried.

Statutes, that a meeting of the Parks Commission of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Albany
