PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING June 27, 2022 The meeting of the Personnel Committee was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Village President Kim Blumer at the Albany Village Hall, 206 North Water Street, Albany, WI. Members present were: Blumer, Tonya Stephan, Larry Nipple and Michelle Monson. Absent: Eileen Althaus, Bert Hefty, and Fred Johnson. Also present: Robert Ritter and Lonnie Gill. Proof of posting was verified. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: Nothing. ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION: Motion by Monson, seconded by Stephan, to go into closed session under §19.85(1)(c). Roll call vote: Blumer—yes; Stephan—yes; Nipple—yes; Monson—yes. Carried. RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION: Motion by Monson, seconded by Nipple, to reconvene to open session. Roll call vote: Blumer—yes; Stephan—yes; Nipple—yes; Monson—yes. Carried. RECOMMENDATIONS FROM CLOSED SESSION: Recommendation to table the public works on-call pay. Motion by Monson, seconded by Nipple, to start the hiring process for a new full-time police officer with a starting wage of $20/hr and then .50/hr raise after six months and then raise to $22/hr after a one year probation period.
