STREET AND UTILITY COMMITTEE July 6th, 2022 The regular meeting of the Street and Utility Committee was called to order at 6:30 p.m. in the Albany Village Hall by Chairperson Larry Nipple. Members present were: Nipple, Kim Blumer, Eileen Althaus, Jim Mauerman. Also present: Andy Gertsch, Ricky Denure, Ex-Officio and Tim Astfalk of Mead & Hunt. Proof of posting was verified. MINUTES: Motion by Blumer, seconded by Mauerman, to approve the previous minutes as printed. Carried. SEWER SYSTEM UPGRADE: Astfalk informed the committee on progress at the lagoon site. Several lights and heaters are on back order but should not hold up the majority of work being done. Electical should be mostly complete by July 12th, 2022 and mixer start up should be complete by July 22nd, 2022. SEWER POND UPGRADE CHANGE ORDER: Astfalk presented a change order in the amount of $585.00 to add an electrical conduit to plans in order to allow future work on wiring if necessary. Motion by Blumer, seconded by Mauerman, to approve the change order as presented. Carried. SEWER POND UPGRADE PAY REQUEST: Motion by Althaus, seconded by Blumer to approve the pay request to Midwest General & Mechanical Contractors in the amount of $99.540.19. Carried. STORM WATER DEVELOPMENT CREDITS: Motion by Blumer, seconded by Althaus, to sell the developer of land in the industrial park on the corner of Hwy 59 and Ogden Ave credits for 2.5 acres for approximately $9,000.00. Carried TRAINING: Motion by Blumer, seconded by Mauerman, to send Blumer to training in Marshfield. Carried. Motion by Mauerman, seconded by Blumer, to send Gill to “equipment rodeo” in Plover.
