PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING September 25, 2023 The meeting of the Personnel Committee was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Village President Kim Blumer at the Albany Village Hall, 206 North Water Street, Albany, WI. Members present were: Blumer, Michelle Monson, Bert Hefty, Larry Nipple and Tonya Stephan. Absent: Fred Johnson and Roald Henderson. Also present: Robert Ritter. Proof of posting was verified. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: Nothing. ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION: Motion by Monson, seconded by Stephan, to go into closed session under §19.85(1)(c). Roll call vote: Blumer—yes; Hefty—yes; Nipple—yes; Monson—yes; Stephan—yes. Carried. RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION: Motion by Nipple, seconded by Hefty, to reconvene to open session. Roll call vote: Blumer—yes; Hefty—yes; Nipple—yes; Monson—yes; Stephan— yes. Carried. RECOMMENDATIONS FROM CLOSED SESSION: Motion by Monson, seconded by Stephan, to offer the police officer position to Anndrea Terry at $18.75/hr as she attends the police academy in January 2024 with an eighteen month probation and $18.75/hr as a part-time officer starting November 1, 2023, to learn office skills and computer work before going to the academy. Carried. Motion by Stephan, seconded by Monson, to approve wages as discussed in closed session. Carried. ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Hefty, seconded by Stephan, to adjourn. Carried.
