Plans Commission

PLANS COMMISSION June 6, 2024 The regular meeting of the Plans Commission was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by President Kim Blumer in the Albany Village Hall. Members present were: Blumer, Michelle Monson, Fred Johnson, Larry Ommodt, Eileen Althaus and David King. Absent: Paul Rhyner. Proof of posting was verified. MINUTES: Motion by Monson, seconded by King, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as printed. Carried. MATT SHEAHAN – RIVERVIEW HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION (LAND BEHIND DG): Sheahan was present to explain to the committee that the owner would like to market the property into four sections rather than one large property. Motion by Monson, seconded by Ommodt, to allow the owner/realtor to sell Riverview Heights Subdivision in four sections, keeping them zoned as one commercial and three residential properties. Carried. FENCE PLANS: There were none. CHICKEN PERMITS: Motion by Monson, seconded by Ommodt, to approve six renewal chicken permits to properties at 603 N. Mechanic, 404/405 South Mill, 403 S. Mechanic, 502 5th, 600 South Mill and 203 South Mill. Carried. Motion by Monson, seconded by Johnson, to approve two new chicken permits to properties at 501 4th and 205 N. Summit. Carried.
