STREET AND UTILITY COMMITTEE
November 3rd, 2025
The regular meeting of the Street and Utility Committee was called to order at 6:30 p.m. in the
Albany Village Hall by Chairperson Fred Johnson. Members present were: Johnson, Bert Hefty,
Brooke Helley and Jim Mauerman. Absent: Kim Blumer. Also present: Lonnie Gill, Ex-Officio,
Andrew Skog of Mead & Hunt, and Brian Hauri.
Proof of posting was verified.
MINUTES: Motion by Hefty, seconded by Mauerman, to approve the previous minutes as printed.
All ayes. Motion carried.
SEWER LINE / MANHOLE SLIPLINE: Plans have been approved by DNR with no edits.
BUSINESS PARK LAND PURCHASE / ASSESSMENT FEES: Update on current pricing for
business park land purchase.
COST WATER QUALITY TRADING PLAN REVISION: Mead and Hunt will send out the proposal;
which should be $19,500. The Plan revision to be put on November Village Board agenda with a
01/31/2026 due date.
GERTSCH WATER LICENSE: Motion by Hefty, seconded by Mauerman to send Gertsch to Plover
to test for water license at a cost not to exceed $900. All ayes. Motion carried.
TRAINING: None
ANNOUNCEMENTS AND FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: ATV / UTV village rules pertaining to time
limits and streets off limits; fire hydrant repairs; and Mill Street boat ramp.
ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Blumer, seconded by Mauerman, to adjourn. Carried.
