MINUTES OF THE ALBANY SPECIAL VILLAGE BOARD June 13, 2024 The special meeting of the Albany Village Board was called to order at 6:30 pm. in the Albany Village Hall by President Kim Blumer. Members present were: Blumer, Michelle Monson, Fred Johnson, Tonya Stephan and Kimberly Klein. Absent: Bert Hefty. The Pledge of Allegiance was shared. Proof of posting was verified. AGENDA: Motion by Monson, seconded by Klein, to approve the agenda as posted. Carried. ACCEPT ROALD HENDERSON VILLAGE TRUSTEE RESIGNATION: Motion by Blumer, seconded by Monson, to accept Roald Henderson’s Village Trustee resignation. Carried. APPROVE CERTIFIED SURVEY – 304 SUGAR RIVER PARKWAY: Motion by Stephan, seconded by Klein, to approve the certified survey at 304 Sugar River Parkway. Carried. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: Blumer mentioned to start looking for a trustee replacement. Klein would like to look into the possibility of lowering the speed limit on Sugar River Parkway, the traffic flow and the hidden driveways along with foot traffic creates some issues. Monson mentioned that we should also look into installing hidden driveway signs along that road. ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Monson, seconded by Klein, to adjourn. Carried. MICHELLE C.
