Submitted By: Joshua Stewart, Public Services Superintendent Summary The water plant has four filter units. Last year the blocks and tubes were replaced on units #1, #2 and #3. This year we need to replace the blocks and tubes on unit #4. The water plant staff will perform this work. The lead time is estimated at 12-14 weeks. Attached is the quote from our filter manufacturer, Filmtec. Clay Township is responsible for 64.4226% and the City of Algonac is responsible for 35.5774% of this cost. This project is pending approval by the Clay Township Board of Trustees on July 17, 2023.
