Board of Trustees Special Meeting Minutes October 10, 2024 Meeting called to order at 8:15 a.m. MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Dennis Siry, Deputy Mayor Kevin Smith, Trustee O’Neill, Trustee Brooks, Trustee Roger Smith ALSO PRESENT: Village Attorney Bruce Kennedy APD Chief Bryan Burton Superintendent Bruce Hopper Building Inspector Michael Breitweg Clerk/Treasurer Catherine Murdock Assistant to the Mayor Wendy O’Neill The salute to the flag was led by Chief Bryan Burton. Mayor Siry welcomed everyone to the October 10th Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees and wished everyone a happy Columbus Day on Monday. He opened the agenda for Mayor’s Actions. MOTION to APPROVE was made by Trustee Roger Smith and was seconded by Trustee O’Neill Vote on Motion: Mayor Siry aye Deputy Mayor Smith aye Trustee O’Neill aye Trustee Brooks aye Trustee Roger Smith aye Motion Carried: 5 aye 0 nays 0 abstain Public Comments Mayor Siry opened a discussion about parking difficulties behind the strip of stores where the Cheesecake Spot is located on Broadway and Union Ave. He shared that he met with the two property owners of 197 and 201 Broadway and proposed that the village install flower plots at the curb to prevent curb cars and sidewalk damage.
