City of Anderson Minutes of the Regular Meeting: April 14, 2015 Board of Public Works PRESENT: Pete Heuer, Chariman Ken de la Bastide Roger Clark, Member Michael Farmer Charlie Jones, Member Mike Spyers Ashley Hopper, City Attorney Yasser Abouaish Charlee Turner, Recording Secretary John Bostic APPROVAL OF MINUTES Meeting was called to order at 3:01 p.m. Member Jones made a motion to approve the minutes as presented. Member Clark seconded. Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS APPROVE A DONATION REQUEST FOR THE DEBUTANTE COTILLION AND BEAUTILLION MILITAIRE Economic Development Director Greg Winkler requested the Board approve a $5,000.00 donation agreement to support the cost of the Debutante Cotillion and Beautillion Militaire Gala. The donation would help defray the costs associated with the annual gala, an event established to support youth in the Anderson community. John Bostic, Cotillion/Beautillion representative, was in attendance to answer questions. Member Clark moved to approve the donation request. Member Jones seconded. Motion passed unanimously. MISCELLANEOUS OLD BUSINESS CLAIMS With no further business coming before the Board it was unanimously passed to pay the claims in the amount of $1,777,164.64. Member Jones made the motion to pay the bills and Member Clark seconds. Motion passed unanimously.
