CALL TO ORDER (LINDA DIANE FELDT)
Linda Diane Feldt called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. in the Guy
C.Larcom, Jr. Building, 2nd Floor Council Chambers, 301 E. Huron
Street.
ROLL CALL (KAYLA COLEMAN)
Kayla Coleman called the roll.
Non-voting Commission members: Sergeant Bill Clock, Eli Cooper,
Raymond Hess as an alternate for Luke Liu, Howard Lazarus
Non-voting Commission members absent: Steve Dolen, Luke Liu, Liz
Margolis, Matt Webb
Attending staff, presenters and guest speakers: Nick Hutchinson, Chris
Wall (Nixon Corridor Project)
Present: 7- Linda Diane Feldt, Robert Gordon, Cyrus Naheedy,
Bradley Parsons, Scott Trudeau, Timothy Hull, and Zachary
Ackerman
Absent: 3- Michael Firn, Julie Boland, and Kyra Sims
APPROVAL OF AGENDA (LINDA DIANE FELDT)
A motion was made by Councilmember Ackerman, seconded by
Trudeau, that the Agenda be Approved. On a unanimous voice vote,
the Chair declared the motion carried.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES (LINDA DIANE FELDT)
18-1410 Transportation Commission Meeting Minutes of July 18, 2018
A motion was made by Gordon, seconded by Trudeau, that the
Minutes be Approved by the Commission and forwarded to the City
Council and should be returned by 9/4/2018. On a unanimous voice
vote, the Chair declared the motion carried.

Nixon Corridor Design - presentation and Q&A (CHRIS WALL)
Commissioner questions and comments included:
- Bicycle considerations for roundabouts
- Service road as a bicycle boulevard
- Autonomous vehicle considerations for roundabouts

Traffic Calming Task Force Recommendations - discussion and action (ACKERMAN, PARSONS,
FELDT)

18-1427 Traffic Calming Program Update Materials
A motion was made by Gordon, seconded by Naheedy, that the
Traffic Calming Task Force recommendations be Accepted as
amended by the Commission and forwarded to the City Council and
should be returned by 10/1/2018. The Transportation Commission
recommends that City Council approve the revised Traffic Calming
Program inclusive of Task Force recommendations. On a
unanimous voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried.
Commissioner Feedback Activity (KAYLA COLEMAN AND LINDA DIANE FELDT)
Commission members provided feedback about meeting logistics and
general operations of the Commission in addition to modes of
transportation most used.
