On an unanimous voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. 19-0085 Micro-Mobility Committee Materials Received and Filed CIP Committee Update (LINDA DIANE FELDT, BRADLEY PARSONS, CYRUS NAHEEDY) Update on committee activities provided by Cyrus Naheedy 19-0086 CIP Committee Materials Received and Filed Annual Report (LINDA DIANE FELDT) 18-2151 Transportation Commission 2017 and 2018 Annual Report A motion was made by Trudeau, seconded by Gordon, that the Annual Report be Approved by the Commission and forwarded to the City Council and should be returned by 2/19/2019. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried, with a no vote by Griswold. Received and Filed Chair and Vice-Chair Elections (LINDA DIANE FELDT) A motion was made by Gordon, seconded by Councilmember Griswold, that Linda Diane Feldt be re-elected as Chair and Robert Gordon be re-elected as Vice Chair. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. STAFF REPORT AND UPDATES (RAYMOND HESS) 19-0092 Transportation Project Updates January 2019 Commission comments and questions included: -Transportation plan availble to public? - Fifth/Detroit project update? - Beakes intersection- follow up Received and Filed LIAISON REPORTS (LINDA DIANE FELDT) -Zendrive #fundmystreets grant promotion -Planning Commission recommended CIP to City Council, questions about greenbelt trail connections. COMMISSION MEMBER COMMUNICATIONS (LINDA DIANE FELDT) NEXT AGENDA ITEMS -Interest in looking at crash data sooner rather than later -Edgewood and Stadium – request for RRFB and lighting above the roadway at the crosswalk -Huron crosswalk at Thayer – existing crosswalk deficiencies -Greenbelt Land Acquisition to support the Border-to-Border Trail.
