Call To Order Chairman Paone called the meeting to order at 6:58 p.m. Roll Call Present: 2- Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderman Paone Absent: 1- Alderman Budge 2. Legislation before Committee O-46-16 Sale of City-owned Property - For the purpose of approving the sale of the Eisenhower Golf Course located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland at 1576 Generals Highway, Crownsville, Maryland 21032; for expressly authorizing said sale to be made at private sale and not at public auction; and all matters related to said sale. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Aye: 2- Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderman Paone Absent: 1- Alderman Budge City Manager Andrews gave an introduction of the legislation and answered questions City of Annapolis Page 2 Economic Matters Committee Standing Committee Minutes November 21, 2016 from the committee. Finance Director Miller spoke on the Assumption Overview and answered questions from the committee. Damian Cosby, General Manager representing Eisenhower Golf Course was present spoke on the legislation and answered questions from the committee. Rick Anthony, Director representing Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks was also present spoke on the legislation and answered questions from the committee. Acting City Attorney Elson spoke on the legislation and answered questions from the committee. The Ordinance Failed for lack of a second. Alderwoman Pindell- Charles was present and spoke on recreational facilities in the Clay Street area. R-33-16 Landmark Designation of the Community Health Center at Parole - For the purpose of accepting and approving the recommendation of the Historic Preservation Commission to designate the Community Health Center at Parole, Inc. as a landmark; and matters generally relating to said landmark designation.
